Saints legend Myler joins David Williams IFA
David Williams IFA is delighted to announce that Stephen Myler has joined the firm as a trainee financial adviser.
This follows the appointment of Scott Kent as a new Chartered Financial Planner earlier this month underlining the continued growth of the company.
Stephen is a well-known name in Northampton following his successful professional rugby career as a Saints player. He scored 2655 points during his 330 club appearances, putting him second on the Saints all-time scoring list.
Stephen was inducted into the Saints Hall of Fame last year. He also played for London Irish and the Ospreys and was capped for England.
Since retirement from the professional game, Stephen has been working towards a career in financial advice, shadowing staff at another local IFA practice and studying towards his professional exams.
The appointment also strengthens David Williams IFA’s longstanding ties with the Saints. The firm is Northampton Saints official independent financial advisory partner.
Nick Beal, managing director of David Williams IFA, says: “We are pleased to welcome Stephen into his new role. I know that the skillset that made him successful in elite sport – discipline, attention to detail and teamwork – will help make him a great adviser for David Williams IFA.”
Stephen says, “I’m delighted to join David Williams IFA and starting this next chapter of my career. I’m looking forward to learning from the team, continuing my development as an adviser, and in time providing real value to the firm and ultimately our clients.”
Alongside Stephen’s appointment, David Williams IFA has also welcomed two further members of our vital support team this month. Abigail Peace joins as a technical administrator and Hannah Bastick as an Office Administrator.
